Our Story

We started our farm, Harpers Ridge, on Old Mission Peninsula in 2016 planting our first apple tree in 2017. Today, we have over 500 fruit trees. We believe in healthy soil, compost, companion plantings, and a special ecosystem supported by bees, donkeys, sheep, chickens, guinea hens, and ducks. Proud holders of our MDARD License, we're also in the process of achieving 100% Organic certification. We LOVE this community and are proud to donate 1% of our gross sales to the Grand Traverse Land Conservancy.

    Our Old Mission Ciders are crafted from our farm-fresh fruit, aged for a minimum of one year post-fermentation. Each small batch offers a distinct flavor profile, making every product truly unique.

    Our Donkey Fuel wellness shots are packed with nature’s best ingredients, including our premium, small batch vinegars. Each shot is a burst of farm-fresh goodness designed to give you a quick boost.

Fermented & Poured

As passionate advocates of natural products, we center everything we do around this principle. Our vinegars are crafted from cider apples using the renowned slow Orleans technique, ensuring exceptional quality. Each vinegar is aged for at least a year in wine barrels and steel tanks, preserving the authentic flavors and aromas of the fruit. We use our vinegars daily, both as a tonic and a cooking staple—and once you try them, you’ll never want to enjoy a meal without vinegar again!
